A Polynesian Moai Statue
Perhaps some of the most famous sculptures in the world are the Moai statues of Easter Island. You may recognize them as the giant head statues that have long been a mystery to the world. However, even less known is that there is one more moai that has rarely been seen. That’s because it resides underwater.

There is tremendous debate about how that statue got there, but one thing everybody agrees on: it was not created along with the other original moai. This one is undoubtedly a modern creation, but by whom? And why? Most people say it is a prop from a TV show or a film, while others say that modern-day Easter Island residents created it. Either way, we would love to visit it!
