Under the Sea: Extraordinary Things Discovered in the Deepest Parts of the Ocean

We hate to point this out, but we think somebody took a wrong turn somewhere. It may seem incredibly out of place for military tanks to wind up on the ocean floor, but apparently, it’s actually relatively common. Many times they fall off shipping boats as they’re being transported, but they are frequently put there on purpose for military diving training.

You will find most of them off the coast of England or the Philippines, although there are tons of tanks along many other coastlines. A trained diver can have a field day exploring these tanks in safety. After all, we’re willing to bet that there’s no other underwater experience quite like it.
