Yes, there really is a creature called the goblin shark; it isn’t just some character made up to scare children. Although it sure seems like it’s straight out of a horror story! This creepy creature lives in the deepest parts of the ocean, so he’s rarely ever spotted, thank goodness.

The average person is unlikely to ever encounter this frightening sea monster since he never comes near the surface. Instead, he can only be spotted if you submerge deep into the darkest parts of the ocean via a submarine or if you are a very (very) advanced scuba diver. So we’ll just stick to yachts and sailboats, thank you very much.
