Munnopsis Isopod
Very little is known about this shrimpy little creature. He’s a distant relative of the pill bug, but other than that, we can only learn about him by observing him. He has oddly numbered seven legs and no backbone. No, we aren’t calling him a wimp; he’s an invertebrate!

These crustaceans are part of the isopod family and have populated earth for 300 million years. Isopods are any crustacean but aren’t limited only to the oceans. They can also live in freshwater or even on land. Many have very sharp little claws but are mostly harmless to humans.
