Nitrous oxide was invented in 1772 and used for a short time as a recreational substance before being used in the medical industry. For some reason, Whip-its have become super popular again. How do we know? Well, more and more young people are showing up in the ER with nerve damage alongside neurological issues caused by overusing the gas from store-bought containers.
Nitrous oxide isn’t that dangerous in and of itself without prolonged use. The most significant danger comes from damage to your body when you pass out. The B12 issue listed above is also a problem, though it takes time. Either way, this cashier seems to have had enough of people’s stupid ideas of fun…
