#45: Winner Winner Frozen Dinner
One thing a lot of cashiers expressed is judging parents for spending a lot of money on cigarettes and booze rather than nutritious snacks and food items for their kids. This cashier judged people for buying frozen meals for their kids only using food stamps and spending hundreds of dollars on booze and cigarettes.
While I get where this person was coming from – and he was probably right to judge these parents – this has to be said: not all frozen meals are bad. There are a lot of brands and different meal types to choose from, and some actually don’t taste that bad and have a reasonable nutritious value. Don’t knock it before you try it!
So, do you feel better or worse about the things you’ve recently purchased at stores in the presence of a cashier? We hope you had a good laugh, but if you take nothing else away from this article, remember: you can always use the self-checkout. If there are no self-checkouts, try buying one item at one store and another elsewhere, so you don’t get the side eye. Of course, you could just do you and not worry about what anyone else thinks!
