#42: Excuse Me, There’s a Fly in My Dirt
Okay, here’s another one that has me on the fence. On the one hand, I can see how that would be frustrating for the cashier. It’s dirt and a fly. They go hand in hand. On the other side, you have soil from an unknown source with a fly that may or may not have been a regular house fly.
Lots of people throw the word fly around without actually identifying the type of bug. It very well could have been something non-regional that laid eggs throughout the dirt she was about to spread. That said, this risk comes with any dirt you purchase, so being upset about it makes no sense.
