Cashiers Anonymously Share What Makes Them Silently Judge Their Customers

Between the age gap and smoking while pregnant, it would be very hard not to judge this couple. That sounds like the kind of checkout you call your friend to tell them about while on break. I’d have been flabbergasted! Thankfully, more and more people are aware of the dangers of smoking while pregnant, so this is happening less and less.

The age gap isn’t even the issue here (not the big one, anyway), and I doubt this cashier would have noticed it without the pregnancy and smoking involved. It does make me wonder how this situation went down, though. I admit that I might be a tiny bit judgey regarding this stuff. I definitely make certain assumptions despite my better judgment.
