Cashiers Anonymously Share What Makes Them Silently Judge Their Customers

I didn’t realize this was a policy anywhere. This must have been back in the day because there is no way that stores are allowing people to steal and return items for gift cards that can buy beer and cigarettes. Maybe I’m wrong, but I just don’t see it being a thing anymore.

As for the second half, I was a couponer for a while. I spent hours organizing and verifying that each coupon would work. Out of the three years I spent clipping and submitting coupons, only one didn’t work! My cashiers always commented on how surprising it was. The bottom line is that it’s too much work, and my time is worth more than those savings.
