I feel so bad for some of the people who work in these stores. People can be jerks at the best of times, but throw in a bad day and an out-of-stock item, and they can turn vicious. Can you imagine all the Karens in the world delightedly rubbing their hands before walking into stores and gearing up for a meeting with the manager?

Of course, they always wait until they’re at the checkout to make a big deal out of something. They couldn’t possibly quietly ask a worker elsewhere in the store for help or look up what the store has in stock. I bet they don’t even know there’s an app for that. Hopefully, the Karens of the world are using Instacart and being friendly to their shoppers.
