#12: Don’t Give Me That Attitude
I’m surprised that more cashiers haven’t come forth with stories of awful customers. Sure, they may not be buying anything worth judging, but sometimes they want huge discounts on items or refuse to accept that the coupon for the 82 tubes of toothpaste won’t work to make it all free.
Honestly, when you’re a cashier in a store, everything that passes across the scanner is stuff you’ve seen before, especially if you occasionally help with the stocking or are required to know the layout to help customers. It makes sense that you’d grow a bit numb to the purchase. They’ve probably seen it all before.
