#18: That’s a lot of sugar
I have never seen someone order ten sugars in my life. I thought four was excessive, honestly. The average sugar packet contains between two and four grams of sugar. That’s 20 to 40 grams depending on the size of the packet! Actually, let me back up for a minute. It turns out that a 12-ounce Coke has 39 grams of sugar.
Basically, they’re making their coffee equal to a single soda. If you think of it that way, that’s not worth a side-eye at all. Of course, many people (myself included until now) don’t realize that Cokes have that much sugar in them and don’t take the time to compare things. I won’t make that mistake again!
