#8: Okay, Boomer
For some reason, some Airbnb guests think that staying in a stranger’s home means they become part of that person’s family. This hostess had an elderly couple stay in her home for a week, and they immediately started acting like the home was theirs, and she was their indentured family member.
They made very particular requests, like wanting black bathroom towels instead of white or wanting the patio chair cushions taken inside during the night. They also demanded the hostess drive them around town because they were self-described “old people.” If they wanted personalized service, they should have just booked a hotel.
