#23: Basic Conveniences
Hot tip: When you travel to a different country, certain things can be different from what you’re used to back at home. It’s best to go with the flow and adapt, but some travelers just can’t do that. One time an American couple stayed at this host’s antique cottage in the English countryside, and they had strong opinions about it.
Instead of being charmed by country living – which we can only assume is what they wanted because they booked a place in the English countryside – they complained about the place lacking “basic conveniences” like bug screens and a certain type of bed sheet only found in America. Sounds pretty rough (not).
