We weren’t sure whether this story was too crazy to be included on the list, but it’s definitely too crazy not to be included on the list. This person wasn’t a guest or a host, but he worked in a call center that handles Airbnb’s customer service. He’s heard it all on the job, from guests murdering people to guests barbecuing pet Iguanas.

This person can really say he’s seen it all and mean it with all his heart. To top it off, Airbnb requires photographic evidence for all complaints – and rightly so – but this also means this person gets to see graphic evidence for all of these crazy complaints. No, thanks! We always knew customer service wasn’t a job for the faint of heart.
