#21: New Roommate?
This Airbnb host had a guest who didn’t understand the basic function of Airbnb. Instead of using her place as a place to sleep while visiting a different city, this guy expected his host to do everything for him, including laundry, dishes, and making phone calls. Apparently, he thought the homeowner came as a personal assistant with the room he was renting. Huh.
He was visiting North America from another country, so there were some cultural differences. It seems like he was a jerk regardless of nationality, though, because he got angry when the host stood up for herself and said she wouldn’t do his chores for him. We’re not really sure what this guy was expecting. You can see the Airbnb host’s name and photo on the listing, so he knew she was a woman when he booked.
