#35: Don’t Cry
So at first glance, this appears to be your typical story where someone receives something for free and then complains because they don’t think the quality is very good. But some further reading makes me think that it actually might be a much more complicated story than that.
According to one thing I read, these food packages were supposed to cover two weeks of lunches, but they came out pretty underwhelming because of mismanagement by (possibly corrupt) companies hired by the government. In that case, I’d be pretty irritated too. But I don’t think I’d be “left in tears,” which feels a lot like the usual hyperbole that news sites rely on to get you to click on headlines.
