#6: ‘Tis the Season
It’s one thing to complain when the food being offered is not up to your standards in healthiness. I mean, I’m not saying it’s a good thing—you’re still being kind of a jerk by complaining about what is being freely offered to you out of the goodness of someone’s heart—but it’s not the worst thing you could do.
It’s another thing altogether to complain that the Christmas tree decorations aren’t healthy enough for your standards. How entitled do you have to be to say, “My kid is pulling decorations off this Christmas tree and eating them, and luckily this business is kind enough to let him do it, but now I’m mad because the candy canes are not organic?”
