Infuriating Examples of Beggars Being Choosers on Social Media

Okay, someone needs to explain to me about hamster cages, because that will help me decide if the choosy beggar in this story is extremely unreasonable or only slightly unreasonable. My question is, can they be collapsed down to a smaller size?

If yes, then demanding that someone mail a hamster cage to you via post is slightly unreasonable; they are doing you the favor of getting you free stuff, and it would be rude to make them go down to the post office to ship it to you. But if the hamster cage cannot be collapsed, then it would be extremely unreasonable to expect the giver to spend all of the money required to post it. Those things are pretty big.
