This person’s family let all their dirty laundry out during the funeral of their grandmother. The storyteller’s aunt decided that the funeral of her mother was the perfect setting to reveal a huge family secret. She announced that the man her mother was married to when she was born was not, in fact, her biological father. 

In all honesty, this bombshell wasn’t much of a surprise. This aunt was the only person with blonde hair in their family, so everyone kind of figured that grandma got up to something with someone outside her marriage. Whoops. Our storyteller was just shocked that the aunt would make such an announcement during the funeral.
