Everyone mourns the loss of a loved one differently. While some families choose to cry it out, other families find it therapeutic to do something joyful and fun as a way to honor their deceased family members. This family decided to honor their beloved grandfather in an unorthodox but sweet way.   

On the day of Pop Pop’s funeral, everyone in the family had a snowball fight outside the funeral parlor. It was a rollicking good time that they knew their grandfather would have loved. He was a fun-loving type of guy, and his family knew he would approve. Non-family attendees seemed horrified by this joy at a funeral, but they didn’t understand that this snowball fight was a celebration of Pop Pop’s life.
