#33: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
This is another movie that relied heavily on green screen magic. After all, with all due respect, there is no way the director is talented enough to tame a lion and ensure it doesn’t eat the child stars! So, instead, they CGI’d him in, as well as many of the other images and sets the young kids encounter.
For example, this gorgeous palace built into the side of a mountain is too otherworldly to actually exist in real life. So, rather than creating it entirely from scratch, the director chose an abandoned, utterly mundane, bland building as the base for the castle. It’s a pretty stunning trick when you think about it.
