As the nameless Bride and a former member of an assassination squad, Uma was on a mission to avenge the death of her husband and unborn baby. So, naturally, things got more than a little violent. And that required a lot of stunts, of course.

Uma had a stunt double, but she was needed for certain shots. When we first watched this movie, we were left breathless by some of her moves and scratching our heads, wondering how she pulled them off. Now we know: Uma was suspended by wires that allowed her to balance on her enemy’s shoulders and seem to fly through the air.
