#50: A Thirfted Gag Gift
The great thing about thrifting is that it’s pretty low stakes. You can find some pretty interesting items without spending a ton of money. The woman who found this strange statue bought it as a gag gift for her husband. She was intrigued by the odd shape and unique coloring and knew her husband would appreciate it.
You’re mistaken if you think this statue is made of wood. That’s what our storyteller thought, only to discover that it’s made of plaster and weighs a whopping thirteen pounds. Another possibility is that it’s made of petrified wood, which is much heavier than regular wood. One thing is for sure. This isn’t your average weird thrift store statue!
