#32: Around the Globe
Buying electronics from a thrift store is always hit or miss. Thankfully, this purchase was a hit. Our shopper found this glass globe lamp at their local Goodwill for only six dollars. They loved the way it looked, so they decided to take a chance and buy it. They would only be out a few bucks if it didn’t work. What’s the harm?

Miraculously, the lamp still worked! They installed a new bulb and were thrilled to add it to their living room decor. Like most things from Goodwill, the lamp’s age and origin are unknown. Our storyteller shared that the lamp was made in Mexico, but that’s the only thing they could figure out.
