#4: A Hand-Carved Beauty
People always want the latest and greatest things, but something special must be said about shopping second-hand. Second-hand furniture has a character that new, factory-made furniture can only dream of possessing. For example, take this ‘70s-era hutch. This storyteller bought it second-hand and can’t wait to move it into her home.
The entire hutch is handmade. There are even hand-carved designs on the cabinet doors. Plus, this entire piece of furniture appears to be made of solid wood. You can’t buy quality like that anymore! Our storyteller is an herbalist, so this is a perfect place to display her natural collection. It’s almost like this hutch was made for her!
