#15: Divorce War
According to the National Center for Health Statistics, the divorce rate in the US is around 39%, which means that nearly 4 in 10 marriages end in divorce. And it’s not just the affected parents – children of divorced parents are more likely to experience behavioral and emotional problems when they grow up.
That being said, every family is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to navigating divorce. As someone who has witnessed the effects of divorce on close friends and family members, I know how tough it can be. But I’ve also seen people become stronger on the other side, with a newfound sense of resilience and independence.
