There are many kids that grow up in a household where either one or both parents raise their voices from time to time. Sure, people can get a little argumentative in the moment and end up saying things they don’t mean, but when it happens all the time, it can be stressful.

Especially when you’re a child in the situation… Having to deal with bearing the brunt of financial stress as a child is a pretty hard thing to go through. Knowing that you can’t do anything and just feeling helpless is never a good feeling. So why would this family give money to the church before feeding their family?
