#16: Permission, Please
The age-old question: why do students have to ask permission to use the restroom at school? I mean, we’re not in kindergarten anymore, right? What’s the worst that could happen if a student just got up and went to the bathroom without asking? Perhaps it’s time we trusted kids a little bit more…
Are we all going to forget how to read suddenly? Okay, maybe I’m being a bit dramatic, but you get the point). It’s like, come on, people, we’re all humans here. Let’s trust each other to handle our bodily functions and go when necessary. It’s not like it helps us as adults to do this!
