39. Gorilla Fighting!
When I first heard (or saw) the word guerilla as a kid, I was definitely confused by it at first. I just assumed it was named after the apes, not that it was a force consisting of them. It was intensely confusing when you start to realize the stereotype of a guerilla fighter turning into a skirmisher rather than a front-line vanguard.
Why? Because a gorilla is big, strong, and tough. Therefore, they should really represent the heavily armed and armored folk in military forces. As it turns out, that’s not what a guerilla fighter is either, so now I am questioning my existence.
