Strangest and Funniest Beliefs We Used to Have as Kids

Wait, this is supposed to change when you get older? The darkness is a scary place when you’re alone, even for an adult. It plays into our fear of the unknown and gives our imaginations a chance to start filling in the blanks with whatever horrific nonsense it can come up with.

And of course it will be scary, because who knows what we’re afraid of better than us? I am curious now what everyone’s “hellish beast” looks like, because I’m pretty sure we’ll each be imagining something different. Unless you have no creativity at all, then maybe it’s just something from a movie.
