Strangest and Funniest Beliefs We Used to Have as Kids

So that’s what those haybales are for! I always wondered. That makes so much more sense than the conspiracy going around that cows sleep standing up. Though there is the belief that cows and horses sleep standing up, they lie down for serious sleep like anyone else.

They are capable of dozing off on their feet, though, admittedly, but I’ve seen plenty of human beings do it. The real accomplishment is, of course, that the cows are able to unroll the haybales for bedtime and roll them up in the morning before anyone wakes up.
