I cannot relate to this next one. And I absolutely do not mean by that that I always have a spotless house; in fact, I can’t remember the last time I had an immaculate home. Being tidy just does not come naturally to me. However, this next story makes me feel grateful for my parents.

No, I’m lucky that my parents never pressured me to have a spotless house. If they did, they would live in a state of perpetual disappointment when they looked at the random collection of stickers, bubble wrap, German chocolate, and Lego kits on my kitchen table.
