January’s palette is a monochrome melody of melancholy, where even the most optimistic souls find themselves contemplating the various shades of gloom.
“Forboding” perfectly captures the spirit of stepping out of bed into the cold abyss of the morning. “Impending Gloom” and “Pessimism” might just be the season’s top sellers, mirroring the sky’s endless canvas of blah. And let’s not forget the ever-popular “Abject Despair,” a hue as dark as our coffee and as deep as our longing for just one ray of sunshine.
