Believe it or not, but Senioritis (or “senioritus” as this teacher called it) is a real affliction affecting all senior students of high school/college. Senioritis refers to the lack of motivation or decreased motivation students feel towards the end of the school year or the end of their studies (whether it’s their final year of school or college).

Of course, all teachers were students once, and they’ve probably experienced a case of senioritis firsthand, but some teachers don’t remember their school year well enough and don’t remember the power of senioritis. Instead of trying to motivate their students or learn, they just try to shame them. Well, some students just aren’t going to take that.
