#5: Jupiter’s Southern Pole
Jupiter is best known for being our solar system’s largest and most orange planet. We are used to seeing this giant planet represented as a big orange ball, but of course, there’s more to it than we see. For example, what would it look like if we could get a closer view of the planet?

Fortunately, science has improved at exploring these distant planets from afar. The Juno spacecraft got close and took some genuinely spectacular photographs from angles we’ve never seen before. Did you ever wonder what Jupiter’s south pole looked like? We haven’t either, but now we’re utterly fascinated!
