The Mona Lisa is one of the most famous paintings in the world. Art students and critics have studied, analyzed, and debated it for centuries. Leonardo da Vinci painted this masterpiece during the Italian Renaissance with oils on wood. This portrait of a Florentine silk merchant’s wife is the most recognized painting ever.

These days, it hangs in The Louvre Art Museum in Paris, where millions of visitors flock to see it every year. It is a fantastic experience to see a centuries-old masterpiece in person for the first time; guests are rarely disappointed.
