In 1969, the world changed forever when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon’s surface. It filled all mankind with a new sense of wonder for the unknown and respect for the far reaches of space. Most of the planet watched him take those tentative steps, but they watched as his shuttle lifted off a few days before.
