#4: A Brief History of Physics
If you have a physicist in your life, you probably already know that they have a very unique sense of humor. What is it about physics that makes these insanely intellectual scientists have such a self-deprecating sense of humor? This brief history of physics is a perfect example of how physicists like to explain their field to other people.

Honestly, they’re not wrong. Early physics started with the Greek philosopher Aristotle, and we just kept learning from there. Even though our knowledge of the universe is much deeper than it was even a few years ago, any physicist will tell you that we still have no idea what is going on. We like to think we have it all worked out, but physics likes to prove otherwise.
