#36: Outside It’s Sewer Tunnels
Stephen King has been terrifying audiences for decades through his books and films. His story It was published in 1986 and is still capturing the imagination of horror fans. A few movies have been made about his creepy clown killer Pennywise and always attracting new readers and viewers.

The story’s climax takes place in the sewers under the cursed city. However, rather than hauling actors and crew into actual sewers, the film studio constructed their own. We’re impressed with the size and complexity of the design! And we suspect the cast and crew were grateful to not be forced to muck about in actual sewer sludge.
