#23: Watching from Afar
In 1969, the world changed forever when Neil Armstrong walked on the surface of the moon. It filled all mankind with a new sense of wonder for the unknown and respect for the far reaches of space. Most of the planet watched him take those first tentative steps, but they also watched as his shuttle lifted off a few days before.
