#51: The Flinstones
There is something funny about finding something that would otherwise be considered “normal” so many years later when it is considered to be a rarity. It seems as though in order for a certain possession to gain value, it just needs to spend a few decades in the basement collecting dust in order to become important.
At the time when this lunchbox was in use, we assume that it was just another lunchbox on the playground. But the fact that it is now a lunchbox from 1971 adorned with limited edition Flinstone printing on it makes it suddenly far more valuable than it was in the 70s…
