Whatever the reason, as soon as a celebrity is ‘canceled,’ it can be pretty difficult for them to find a career again. We compiled a list of all the celebrities who got canceled the year and why – hopefully, none of your icons made it into the 2022 Cancelled Hall of Fame!
Kanye West
Kanye West has been quite a controversial figure for a number of years now, dating back to his infamous 2009 VMAs speech where he interrupted singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s acceptance moment. However, his recent statements on Twitter and various controversial statements have landed the rapper and producer in more hot water.
So, it comes as no surprise that huge brands like Adidas have cut ties with him. There’s no way they’d want to be associated with such an offensive figure! However, it does mean that the price of West’s line of shoes – known as Yeezys – has soared in price as they’re no longer going to be made.
