#20: The More You Know
I don’t know about you guys, but this next fact absolutely blew my mind. I have spent my entire life assuming that a bone break is different than a bone fracture; after all, why would two different names be floating around if they referred to the exact same thing?

Well, turns out I was totally wrong. “Fracture” is just the technical, medical term, while “break” is more colloquial. It has nothing to do with a fracture just being a small crack but a break being something that goes all the way through the bone, like I always assumed. Were you wrong about this too?
