#4: Follow Your Gut
If you get a strange vibe from someone, it’s easy to overanalyze your feelings and write yourself off as being “paranoid.” But you’re feeling that way for a reason. Follow your gut instinct about people and situations in your life. Even if you don’t realize it, you could be sensing something is “off” as a way to protect yourself.
Believe your gut instinct the first time and walk away from a situation or distance yourself from a person that makes you uncomfortable. Feeling uncomfortable is enough. You don’t have to justify your reason beyond that. Listening to your intuition can help you stay safe and avoid dangerous situations.
