#22: Me, Myself and I
Self-love is an important part of life. We don’t mean taking a bubble bath once a month. We’re talking about genuinely accepting and loving yourself above all else. Once you love yourself, you can love others in a healthy way. If you feel the pressure to date and find “true love,” don’t rush it. Take time to date yourself and the right person will come along.
Another part of loving yourself is accepting that getting hurt by others is inevitable. People in your life will screw you over, whether intentionally or not. If you have a great relationship with yourself, you will be okay in the end. Also, respect yourself enough to break it off with someone if they don’t love you back. It hurts, but it’s the truth.
