The BTK Killer
Dennis Rader, better known as the “BTK Killer,” is a name that strikes fear into the hearts of true crime aficionados everywhere. This man was responsible for a string of murders that spanned over two decades, leaving a trail of devastation and terror in his wake. Rader’s modus operandi was particularly chilling – he would install security systems in the homes of his victims, only to later use that same system to gain access and commit his heinous acts.
But what’s even more unsettling is the fact that, for some, the BTK Killer was a neighbor, a friend, or even a family member. In fact, it’s not uncommon to hear stories of people who had some sort of connection to Rader before his crimes were revealed. Take, for example, the case of a woman who stayed at Rader’s home numerous times and was good friends with his daughter – none other than the author of a book about the case, Kerri Rawson.
