Surely there is something special about the winter air? It is healthy and the chilly winds can feel really lovely. When the cold cuts, however, the skin goes away because it is not used to the cold air which can result in the skin becoming dry and scarred.
In order not to be affected by the changeover, it is good to have an evening routine.
Evening routine for your skin
1. Do you use makeup?
Take oil on a pad and remove the eye makeup and other makeup. Remember to use vegetable oils. Read through the table of contents so that your remover does not contain any form of mineral oil. The easiest way is to use organic olive oil, rapeseed oil or coconut oil that you still have at home. Even better is to use organic Jojoba oil which has very nice properties for dry skin.
The jojoba oil is reminiscent of the skin’s own sebum, what our own body produces to provide protection and keep the skin soft and supple.
2. Now apply cleansing cream all over the face, preferably with moist fingers.
Moisten your fingers a little and massage for a while, repeat a few times. Then rinse with lukewarm water.
3. Spray some of our face water.
4. Gently tap the Eye Oil on the thin skin around the eyes. It consists of fine, thin, nutritious oils that are quickly absorbed by the skin, completely neutral scent. Extra nice to use if your eyes usually run in chilly, windy weather.
5. Lubricate with Vitamin Cream.
6. Supplement with any of the Sea Turtle Ointments or Lavender Ointment immediately afterward.
You can also make sure you take a click of vitamin cream and a click of ointment in your hand and mix the products together before you lubricate yourself. This way you choose the composition from time to time.
The vitamin cream adds moisture, vitamin A and E, among other things.
Sea buckthorn ointments contribute extra fatty acids from sea buckthorn oils and shea butter and provide extra protection and nutrition for the dry skin.
The lavender ointment also adds the extra fatty acids that dry winter skin needs with, among other things, shea butter, but also the classic medicinal herb marigold and soothing lavender.
