This Is Where the Kids Who Never Had a Pencil at School Ended Up

I’d love to sit this next person down and ask what he means. He says that he has switched from asking for pencils to asking for lighters. Does he mean that he no longer uses pencils, but he now smokes a lot, so lighters are now the more desirable object?

Or does he mean that he somehow got good at remembering pencils, but he has still not figured out how to remember to bring lighters? That seems like a bad idea; you’re usually around people who use pencils, but there’s no guarantee that the people around you will have lighters with them.
