Skin Care Routines
It can feel difficult to find the right among all the different types of creams, acids, and serums available on the market. How many do you need? Which skin care products should you choose? And what is the difference between day and night cream? We help you find a good skincare routine that works for you.
Day cream and night cream
Generally, day creams are mainly used for moisturizing and night creams repair. A day cream is lighter and often contains sunscreen to protect the skin from the sun’s rays. Instead, night creams are fatter with more active ingredients such as antioxidants, collagen and hyaluronic acid.
During wintertime or when the weather is more stressful on the skin, it is especially important with a good night cream that can repair and restore your skin to its natural luster. Choose products from one and the same series. They are designed to complement and balance each other.
Quick result with face mask
In addition to your creams, it may be good to regularly apply a face mask to suit your skin type. Face masks are especially full of active and nurturing ingredients that quickly produce results.
For sensitive skin, you may need a moisturizing and rebuilding mask. For dry skin, you can choose a moisturizing and night-acting face mask that may work in depth. If you have oily skin instead, clay masks are very good at cleaning and contracting the pores, and they also counteract glossy skin. Mature skin that begins to show signs of aging can be treated with a vitamin-rich and moisturizing mask. Preferably with light peeling AHA acids.
Clean with oil
When the skin is a little drier, it may be a good idea to replace your regular cleanser with a cleansing oil. Make sure it is non-comedogenic, that is, it does not clog the pores, which can cause blackheads or pimples. In addition to effectively washing away dirt and makeup, cleaning oils contain molecules that emulsify. This means that they dissolve so that all oil is washed off. Thanks to it, the skin becomes comfortable and supple without feeling oily.
Enzyme exfoliation – refreshes dry skin
If the skin is dry, it can mean that old skin cells prevent moisture from penetrating the skin. Peeling products that use so-called mechanical peels (small abrasive grains) should be a little careful when the skin is already extra sensitive. Instead, try an enzyme exfoliation. It works chemically by enzymes “eating up” the dead skin cells so that the new ones come to the surface. The new, healthy skin cells can absorb moisture more effectively.
Beauty comes from within
The best thing you can do for a healthy and beautiful complexion is a healthy lifestyle and healthy food. Nutrients that are particularly good are antioxidants and omega 3, 6, 7 and 9. fatty fish and avocado, or in supplements with Omega-3. Exercise and exercise are actually good for the skin as well. Increased blood circulation helps to make your skin smoother and softer.
